BeforeLease is currently an early beta prototype. These terms explain the basic expectations for using the platform.

Purpose of BeforeLease

BeforeLease is designed to help renters share structured apartment experiences, compare quality-of-life factors, and better understand properties before signing a lease.

User submissions

By submitting a review, users agree to provide information based on their own experience. Reviews should focus on apartment conditions, response times, fees, amenities, safety, move-in, and move-out experience.

Prohibited content

Users should not submit threats, harassment, discriminatory language, private information, employee names, unsupported criminal accusations, personal attacks, or content unrelated to the apartment experience.

Moderation

BeforeLease may review, hold, edit, reject, or remove submissions that create privacy, safety, legal, or platform risk. Submitted reviews are not guaranteed to publish.

BeforeLease is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Reviews and platform summaries reflect user-submitted experiences and should not be treated as legal findings.

Beta notice

BeforeLease is under active development. These terms are a placeholder and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before broad public launch.
